Our Team

After 10 years of working as a cosmetologist, Shellie decided to pursue a career as a dental assistant in 1994, working at CFD, then known as Shields Family Dentistry. Shellie is very proud to have recently celebrated 30 yrs of employment here! Shellie now holds the title of CFD Health Advocate. As a Health Advocate, she curates treatment plans for our patients. In cases where completing treatment seems out of reach, Shellie does her best to find a way to make it happen, always keeping the patient’s best interests in mind. Shellie enjoys spending time with her husband of 38 years, her kids, and grandkids. She also enjoys time by the pool and short vacations.

Brooke is a passionate Health Advocate at CFD who finds true fulfillment in supporting patients on their journey to better health and renewed smiles. Originally from Sturgis, MI, she brings a genuine dedication to her work every day. Outside of the office, Brooke cherishes quality time with her fiancé, Chad, and their children, Lincoln and Amelia. She is also excitedly preparing for the arrival of baby #3 in January 2025.

Sheri transitioned from over 16 years in the medical field to the dental field when she graduated from KVCC with her RDH degree in 2007. She started at Centreville Family Dentistry, which was then Shields Family Dentistry, as a Registered Dental Hygienist and Dental Assistant.

In 2016, she transitioned to managing the office and serving as one of our Health Advocates. Her passion is this office, her dental family and the patients she serves. Sheri is constantly striving to improve the experiences and lives of our patients.

She has laughed, and cried and been the biggest cheerleader for all at Centreville Family Dentistry. She loves celebrating the successes and transformations at CFD. Outside of work, she cherishes time with her family, especially her grandbabies. Sheri absolutely loves the water, swimming, and can’t get enough of the sun. She enjoys Rock Hunting, reading, journaling, playing any kind of game, and sharing laughter and love with whoever she’s with.

In addition to being one of our dental hygienists, Jenny is our main myofunctional care provider here at CFD. She received her education in dental hygiene from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and has since also become a board-certified orofacial myologist, certified myobrace educator and performance breathing coach. With this extensive education in myofunctional therapy, Jenny provides non-invasive therapy to those who suffer from disorders of the face and mouth. Outside of work, Jenny and her family enjoy visiting amusement parks, skiing, and camping.

Rachel is one of our dental hygienists here at CFD. She discovered her passion for dental health through her own dental and orthodontic experiences. After two years of nursing school, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. She received her degree in dental hygiene from Indiana University. Rachel is extremely passionate about the oral health and well-being of her patients. When she’s not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, son, daughter, and their 2 dogs. Some of her other interests include volleyball and bowling.

Jen is Registered Dental Hygienist at Centreville Family Dentistry with more than 16 years of experience providing preventative and therapeutic services (over 8 years with CFD!). One of her favorite things about CFD is working with professionals that all care about our patient’s well-being. She is a graduate of Kellogg Community College located in Battle Creek, MI where she received an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her role as your Dental Hygienist is to provide comfortable care, a thorough assessment of findings, dental hygiene treatment planning, if needed delivery of local anesthesia, prophylactic care/debridement, combined with patient education on oral hygiene instruction, and overall health. Your smile is important to Jen, and she takes great pride when meeting new people and helping others live healthier lives. She was raised in Munising, MI and currently resides locally in Three Rivers, MI with her wonderful husband Josh, and their athletic daughter Paige with their sweet American Bulldog Riggs. Her son Garrett lives in the upper peninsula making his career dream come true. During her time away from work she enjoys running daily, any activities which involve the outdoors, traveling and simply being with her family and friends.

Andrea joined our team as a dental hygienist in 2020, shortly after receiving her associate’s in dental hygiene from KVCC. Andrea is passionate about connecting with and educating her patients on oral and overall health. Andrea was born in Michoacán, Mexico but grew up in Sturgis, MI. In addition to her dental skills, she allows us to better communicate with our Spanish-speaking patients. Outside of work, Andrea likes to spend time with her husband Jack and their two toddlers Nico & Enzo. She has a passion for all things health and fitness, especially distance running & weightlifting. Her favorite thing is to travel to new places/countries with her family.

Amber is one of our dental assistants here at CFD. She received her education at Everest Institute of Kalamazoo. In addition to her work as a dental assistant, she also works alongside Dr. Chad in Sleep/TMJ treatment. Amber is passionate about this area of work because of how essential quality sleep is to well-being. Outside of work, Amber spends a lot of time on self-development through physical fitness, intentional eating, and expanding her knowledge of mental wellness. She also enjoys painting, traveling, and, of course, spending time with her loved ones.

Ali is one of our dental assistants here at Centreville Family Dentistry, and she has been a valued member of the CFD family since August 2023. She is from the Vicksburg area where she graduated from Vicksburg High School in 2021. With a strong passion for helping others achieve and maintain optimal health, Ali takes great pride in supporting and caring for patients throughout their dental care/overall health journey. She also values the close-knit, amazing team she works with every day. Ali got into the dental field after seeing the amazing, life transforming outcomes dentistry provides. Outside of work, Ali enjoys staying active, hanging out with friends, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Bailey.

Zoey is a passionate dental assistant here at Centreville Family Dentistry, where she has had the privilege of working since 2020. She is currently pursuing my dream of becoming a dentist, having earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University. She truly loves helping others achieve healthier smiles, and she is committed to providing excellent care to everyone who walks through our doors. When she is not in the dental office, you can find her spending time with her husband Derek, her family, and of course, visiting Disney World whenever she gets the chance! She also enjoys staying active by running half marathons, working out, and exploring new food experiences. As “Aunt Zoey,” she treasures the moments I get to spend with my nieces and nephews. Overall, she is excited to continue growing in her dental career and to make a positive impact on the lives of others!

Stacey is the lead dental assistant at CFD. With over 27 years of experience, she has learned a lot about the field and its advancements. Stacey studied at Grand Rapids Educational Center and has since become certified in dental implants and has extensive background in assisting our smile makeovers / full mouth reconstruction. She has also gained a lot of experience doing crowns and performing the orthodontic services offered at CFD. Outside of work, Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and dog. She also enjoys fishing, working on her flower beds, or relaxing by the pool.

Amanda grew up in a tiny town just a few miles North of CFD. She attended Western Michigan University to study Athletic Training and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in science. She practiced in the sports medicine field for about 2 years before stumbling upon a hiring ad for a Dental Assistant position. In hopes of finding a more “9-5″/first shift type of career, she took a chance and applied for the position. Since joining CFD in 2022, she feels so happy to be part of the most amazing dental team in the Midwest!

In addition to being a dental assistant, she is a mother of the most wonderful child, Elton who will be turning 4 next February & 2 fur babies (Cat, Luna and dog, Fang).

Amanda and her husband Brett enjoy spending time camping, hiking, kayaking & pretty much any other warm-weather outdoor activity that you can think of!

Casey is one of our front desk receptionists/administrative assistants. She received her education at Grand Rapids Community College. Outside of work, Casey spends most of her time with her family and Saint Bernard. She also enjoys playing D&D with friends and attending Renaissance fairs.
